Why do you love your rescue pet?
In memory of: the best foster brother to puppies around. Sawyer made it his mission to snuggle up with every foster puppy who entered his house. Puppies loved burrowing into his soft fluffiness to feel safe and warm.
Sawyer was never without a toy in his mouth (or one under his noggin). If you walked in the door, he would scatter across the vinyl floor in search of a stuffie to bring you. You were never allowed to take it though...you could only look!
We lost Sawyer unexpectedly to metastic lung cancer this past May and our lives haven't been the same since. It broke my heart when we welcomed a new foster puppy into the house and I knew she would never get the joy and comfort of a Sawyer Snuggle.
