Why do you love your rescue pet?
Ms. T (originally named Misty, get it?) was a dog abandoned at the home of a FIDO client. Our client already had 2 other dogs and was visually impaired, so he asked us to find a home for this girl. Our client was keeping her outside, doing the best he could. But she needed a home. My old guy Pogues (a stray found with heartworm disease) had recently died and I had a spot for a 4th dog at my house. So Ms. T moved in.

Although she is a little leery of new people, once she knows you, she loves you . "Trust, but verify" is her motto regarding people's intentions towards her. Understandable. She has perfect house manners and has never peed in the house even once. Likewise, she has never chewed up anything not actually a dog chew toy (no shoes, no blankets, nothing). However, give her an actual dog chew bone or toy she loses her mind, chomping and shredding until it is completely disintegrated. She's always up for a walk, but she's fine with sleeping 20 hours a day if the weather is too crappy to be outside. She's a low-key, happy gal.

In the infamous words of Mr. T, "I pity the fool who does not vote for Ms. T"!
