Why do you love your rescue pet?
Shiloh began his kitten life on the streets as a stray. At 3 months old, he was brought into a humane society. He watched slowly as his other brothers and sisters were adopted out, likely eager for life outside a small metal cage. I have no doubt that he was waiting for me to come along. See, just months before I adopted Shiloh, I lost my 13 year old senior kitty. The grieving process was brutal! But when I found Shiloh on Pet Finder, I knew he was the one. We certainly had our challenges at first, as Shiloh had never been inside a home before. He was super scared of all the new noises. But with love and patience, he persevered! This boy LOVES his new life. He plays all day and all night long with all his toys. He has also learned to accept a harness and loves to go on walks with me outside. He will even "sit" and "lie down" on command! My favorite silly thing that Shiloh does: When he gets excited he will tear through the house, jump up, wrap all four paws around my leg and nip me in the bum! It doesn't hurt, he's just being silly. He's such a character and such a joy in my life.
