Why do you love your rescue pet?
Cleo sat in a rescue for almost 3 yrs, because she was terrified of all people and all other dogs. She was skin & bones when I brought her home, and she hid in my master bathroom for the first 46 days.

It took 4 yrs for her to have the confidence to come out of my master bedroom on her own, and to stay in the living room when other people came to the house. In January, 5 yrs after she arrived, she walked up to another person for attention for the very first time.

In spite of all her fear, she’s a sweet, loving, sometimes silly, girl, who’s worked very hard to find her joy in life ❤️.
