Why do you love your rescue pet?
Lyla (dark mask) & Lyle (tabby mask) are littermates from a rescue born July 2024. These two have provided my home with love, comedy, and some much needed sass amongst my other rescues...as well as "through the window" vocalized to a few of my colony that get close enough to chatter back. These two came at a much needed time for me as they've been such a comfort to me during my current medical treatment. I couldn't imagine a day or night these two aren't up to something. From the sometimes rough and combative play to the angelic faces when they sleep, snore, grunt, and purr, these two have made a place in my heart, home, and the hearts of my other rescues. It's so heart warming to know these kittens will grow up in love than to have to battle the horrors of living outside. They've both been spay/neutered/vaccs/microchipped at 4 months via IndyHumane. Lyla & Lyle wish the best for each contestant in this contest as well as pray this fundraiser touches the hearts of those who are considering adopting a rescue. While they never knew life on "the
street", their mother did...she is now thriving in her adoptive home along with one of her kittens that was also adopted by the same family. Lyla & Lyle want you to remember, "You can't buy love...but you can rescue it!"
