A little about me...
This old brown Lab was adopted as a "senior" dog from the Alachua Humane Society. He came with no background info, but his love of chasing lizards and barking at birds quickly earned him the new name "Hunter". Unexpectedly, within a year of adoption, Hunter went blind of unknown causes, and both his eyes had to be surgically removed. But don't feel sorry for this luckiest of unlucky dogs!! Blindness can't stop this ole guy from enjoying the good life. He happily swims in the ocean and rolls in the sand. He wanders along hiking trails. He enjoys hanging out with his human friends and their kiddos. And he can still track down a treat from a mile away! Hunter is a lesson in resilience and sheer joy. He is truly the luckiest unlucky dog!
