A little about me...
This is my son Harvey.

I brought Harvey home after I saw a ‘foster plea’ post on Facebook and within 24 hours I knew I was in trouble. He was (and still is) absolute perfection. I had never seen Bo (my other adopted son) so happy having another dog in our home.

I later learned that Harvey was transferred from the Levy County shelter, and though his history was unknown, we know that his previous weeks/months had to have been scary for him. He was heartworm positive, severely underweight and almost hairless. His skin was so sensitive that he couldn’t be microchipped yet. It took many months to get Harvey back to health, and after that I was able to officially adopt him into our family.

Today he is the happiest boy, brother and son. He loves EVERYTHING (except for nail trims and vaccines). Forever grateful to the HSNCF for the love and care they provide to all the future family members waiting for their homes.
