A little about me...
When I first met Duffy, he was missing patches of fur from mange and limping from a serious leg injury after being hit by a car. He’d recently undergone major surgery, but you’d never have guessed it from his energy and excitement. Despite everything he’d been through, Duffy was the happiest, goofiest dog at the shelter, with a tail that never stopped wagging and a nose that had to sniff everything. From the moment he trotted over to greet me, I knew he was special. These days, Duffy still walks with a bit of a limp, and while he may never be the fastest dog at the park, he doesn’t let that slow him down. He’s a joyful, curious, and determined dog who keeps up with the best of them, and you might even spot us jogging together around the UF campus. He always wants to be everyone's best friend (with a complete disregard for personal space), and I'm so lucky to have him.
