A little about me...
Valkyrie, also known as “Dings”, came into our life from North Central Florida about 4 years ago now, not long after the passing of our big boy, Blade. There was this space we felt, and we all know you can’t ever replace a lost family member, but you can help to ease the emptiness feeling. When we were scrolling and saw her, it was almost like she fit a perfect description for the breed we were looking for and when meeting her for the first time, she was so scared. She didn’t let us pet her, she was very anxious and pacing, but we knew she deserved another chance and had been through a lot. Upon seeing Valkyrie, (at the time her name was Vanity), we knew not only that she could help us, but more importantly we could help her.

Valkyrie absolutely is the sweetest dog we’ve ever met despite her trauma and is beyond unique in personality. She loves the park to play with friends, sunbathing, rolling in the grass, squeaking her favorite apple toy and stomping her paws when she’s excited. She’s still on the shy side with new people, but we make the joke that she secretly loves love even though she doesn’t always want to show it.
