A little about me...Meet Lily, a true Gainesville local. She was adopted in 2016 from the North Central Florida Humane Society by a semi-responsible 19-year-old college girl who needed a best friend. Her younger years were spent at Gator tailgates, dog parks, and tagging along through the full college experience, including a new apartment every year. Thanks to Lily’s emotional support and encouraging kisses, her mom has two degrees from UF.
Now, at 14 years old, Lily is in her slower, well-earned, retirement era. Her mom works from home, and she has a backyard of her own where she spends her days digging, sunbathing, and taking it easy.
If you’ve been to Curia on the Drag, One Love, or Superette, you’ve probably seen her. She loves to frequent local businesses with good smells.
Lily is currently managing Cushing’s Disease with help from UF’s vet team. Despite her low energy and appetite, she still shows up as the sweetest, most resilient girl every day. Her mom cherishes every moment with Lily, and hopes for many more years with her best furry friend!
