A little about me...Hi, my name is Halo — but my mom calls me “Lo Lo”!
I was found as a stray on the northeast side of town, abandoned in a ditch. I was extremely matted, scared, and being chased by everyone trying to help me. I was nervous and would run, covered in dirt and unsure of everything. Eventually, I gave in and was rescued.
I had no microchip and was under a year old, still just a puppy with baby teeth. My new mom took me in, and I was spayed and fully vaccinated through the humane society. We’re both very passionate about supporting this amazing no-kill shelter.
My name “Halo” fits me perfectly — I really am my mama’s little angel. We are so happy we found each other, and I bring joy to everyone I meet. My dreamy brown eyes tend to catch everyone’s attention everywhere we go.
I love long car rides, going to Squirrel Ridge Park with my friends, chasing squirrels, playing fetch, long walks, beach trips and sometimes getting on my sister’s last nerves (but in a fun way, tehe).
I’ve really come out of my shell since being rescued. I’m learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for every single day. I follow my mom everywhere like her little shadow and love curling up beside her whenever I can. I’m still playful, a little goofy, and always ready for adventure — but now I finally get to just be a happy dog.
