A little about me...Kate (originally Sun) was adopted from the HSNCF after being found living under an abandoned house. She had been found with a litter of puppies that did not appear to be her own (though embark did confirm at least one of the brindles was hers). They were lovingly nicknamed the crusty bunch since they all had scabies and mange sadly. Kate was also heartworm and GI worm positive. Despite all this, I was told the Kate was a phenomenal mom!
After many medicated baths and heartworm treatment, Kate and the puppies were happy and healthy! All were soon adopted. Kate is such a happy goofy girl when she warms up to people/places but she's taken quite a bit of love and patience to get there. At first she wouldn't even make it a lap around the neighborhood without panic poops.
She has no clue how to be a dog still and usually enjoys just sitting back and watching the action around her. Although she loves to go to her weekend playgroup when we can, she definitely prefers to be home snoozing in her chair by the window and licking her cat siblings when they wander close!
