A little about me...I had never had a pet before I met Lilo (then named Lucy) at the Humane Society and fell in love with her. Lilo had been transferred from Columbia County after being found on the streets. When I brought her home, she immediately started nuzzling me and latched on. I never knew that cats could bond so instantly. She has continued to be a loving cat, even demanding pets from strangers who visit the house! I'm so grateful that the Humane Society is there to take in cats and dogs and help people find the missing part of their heart. Lilo for sure is mine! Her story shows how vital a role the Humane Society plays in enriching the lives of people and animals and giving them a new lease on life.
