Your Pet's Story or Bio
Peppa was rescude at the 11th hour from a high-kill shelter in North Carolina. She made her way to Casper, WY and was adopted. However she was returned only an hour later because "she tried to eat the cat".
She came into my life in August 2015 and it has been the best thing for me since my kids were born. Yes, she gets a bit over-excited when she sees cats or bunnies or squirrels. But she doesn't mean any harm to them and with the right kind of leadership from me she is very easy to redirect. After almost a year with our family she actually spent 3 weeks in a household that has a resident cat. And nobody "tried to eat" anybody!
She is the most loving dog, has a mind of her own but also listens to me and follows me very well. I have had her for almost 2 years now and I have heard her bark maybe 5 times. She is very calm an balanced 99% of the time.
