Ayla was found by the pound on the side of the road at 7 months old severely beaten and very shy. My husband adopted her 6 years ago after his dad passed away and they healed together. For the first month with him she would barely approach him because she was so scared. After a couple months she would only approach him and nobody else. To this day when my husband leaves town she wont eat until he comes home and she sleeps in his chair waiting for him. She is very devoted to him. Ayla has come a very long way in the past 6 years. She is amazing with children, she is very calm, and she loves giving hugs! She thinks she is a people most if the time and sits in chairs and lays in beds like people do. She is a Catahula which is a medium sized dog with leapard spots in her fur. She hunts the flies in our house and makes sure we have no dangerous rabbits in our yard. Ive never met a more loving and intelligent dog and everyone who meets her falls in love with her.
