This fundraiser is to help raise funds so that Forest Lake Christian School can offer new amazing technology classes to its students by offering yearbook design and multimedia classes (video production, photography, audio recording, web design, page design, etc.). With these new classes, students will learn industry standard programs that are used in the workforce such as Lightroom & Photoshop (photo editing), Premiere (video editing), InDesign (page layout), and more.

With the raised funds, we will be transforming a large storage room into a creative classroom, designed to aid in the creative process. Large dry erase walls, a “shooting” and “recording” studio, a couch lounge area for collaborating ideas, raised working stations, etc.… all decorated with a “Starbucks” theme (minus the coffee!). The goal is to make a fun and creative space for the kids to really unleash their creativity in a non-traditional atmosphere. We will also be purchasing apple laptop computers and software for students to use while at school.

Forest Lake Christian School provides an education based upon the truth of God’s word so that students are able to discern right thinking and action from a Biblical world view and are thereby empowered for a life of enduring commitment to Christ, moral integrity and intellectual growth.
