A little about me...
Hemi was adopted from the Fort McMurray SPCA in 2013 (known to them as Shadow). At our meet and greet he came right over and hugged my leg, we knew it was meant to be. It took a lot of work for the family to earn Hemi's trust but once we did the results were amazing! He had the biggest personality and quickly stole our hearts.
Hemi loved to be outside. If we weren't out walking, you could find Hemi in the back yard.
Like the story of Ferdinand the bull, he was always smelling the flowers. In the summer, he love to be spread out on a lounger surrounded by plant pots.
Winter was his favourite season though, especially Chrsitmas. If we were wrapping gifts,he was "helping" by lying on the wrap. Once the tree was up, he was beside it or as close to under it as he could be. He learned his toys came in gift bags so if you left them down he would stick his face in the bags looking for new toys. It wouldn't matter what the temperature was, he still wanted to be outside. The above photo was taken after a huge snowfall. He insisted on being out before we shoveled. As long as he had a bed to lie on, he was set.
