Evie’s start to life was far from easy, but from the moment we brought her home, Arlo stepped right into the role of her protective big brother. He groomed her, played with her, and—when necessary—reminded her who was in charge. Evie absolutely adored him, trailing after him from room to room like his little shadow.

Now that our sweet boy is gone, Evie still carries so many of his little “Arlo-isms” — the quirks, habits, and gentle spirit that made him so special. Through her, it feels like a piece of Arlo still lives on in our home every single day.
