Bessie was found as a stray in southern Virginia and transported to FOHA in 2015. She was terribly underweight, scared of the dark and traumatized. She had been adopted and returned. Because of her size and resource issues, she remained at FOHA until December 2018. It was love at first sight. She is now my Big, Beautiful, Bessie the Bloodhound.
