Rules

$10 entry fee per photo.

No people may be included in the photo.

Limit of THREE pets per photo entry. 

Pet must be living and must be your own pet (no fosters). 

All photos must be taken by yourself and digitally uploaded; printed photos will not be accepted. 

Copyrighted or professional photos will not be accepted.

Photos that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund.

Any photograph that includes content deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by FOHARI in its sole discretion, will be removed from the contest with no opportunity for a refund.

The submissions period starts at 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Friday, July 1, 2022 and ends at 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, July 31, 2022.

Contest entry fees and votes are tax-deductible. The email acknowledgment of your online donation serves as your tax receipt.

Any pet adopted through any rescue is eligible to enter; pet does not have to have been adopted through FOHARI.

All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of GoGo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.

The Voting Period starts at 8:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Friday, July 1, 2022 and ends at 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, July 31, 2022.

The top vote recipient will win the Cover Photo for the 2023 Calendar and a Family Photo Session (immediate family only) to be scheduled during this fall (dates TBD) by Bethany Anna Photography.
           (a) If you are unable to commit to the photo session during the specified times or find yourself unable to travel to the selected location in Rhode Island, you forfeit your winnings and the next top vote-getter will be offered the photo session. No exceptions.

The second place vote recipient will win a Year's Supply of Pet Treats from Rumford Pet Center. Prize must be picked up at Rumford Pet Center location (TBD) between August 1-7, 2022. If you are unable to travel to the location, you forfeit your winnings and the next top vote-getter will be offered the prize. No exceptions.

 The third place vote recipient will win a $200 Gift Card to Apponaug Brewing Company. Enjoy a nice meal out on their dog-friendly patio with all of your friends who voted for your pet!

Weekly Winners (4): The entry each week that receives the highest number of new votes for that particular week will win a mini-contest prize from one of our participating sponsors.
      (a) In the event of a tie for or if there are no new votes for a given week, a random computerized drawing will be held for all eligible entries. 
      (b) No entry can win a mini-contest more than once. The winner for each week will be selected from those entries that have not previously won the mini-contest.

All votes and entries are final, nonrefundable and cannot be altered.

Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page. Contest payments online are through a secure site.

By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.

By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless FOHARI.org, Bethany Anna Photography, Rumford Pet Express, Apponaug Brewing Company and all other sponsors of this contest and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers, and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.

All pets entered will be featured in FOHARI's 2023 calendar.  Which month and placement is solely up to FOHARI.

Posting more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning. If you submit more than one photo of a single pet,  one photo will be selected for inclusion in the 2023 calendar.
