Your Pet's Story or Bio
Margaret (Margie) was adopted from LC4 after she was found as a stray and eventually surrendered to the shelter at the ripe old age of 14 years old. Margie had bruising on her abdomen in the shape of a shoe, severe dental disease, and damage to her eyes from untreated dry eye which eventually caused her to lose her vision completely. She has not let her past abuse or blindness affect her life. Margie still enjoys long walks along the river, romps at the dog park, playing with toys, and giving her little sister what for. She LOVES people, especially kids, and is one of the most loving dogs I have ever met. Margie often visits schools to help teach kids about dog safety and how to be a responsible dog caregiver. She truly is my heart dog and we can’t imagine our lives without her!
