Dude, formerly, Hey dude from LC 4 was my first foster and a fail in November of 2023. I had started volunteering at LC 4 and was told this dog needed help. He was very shut down and terrified. As it turned out, I needed him, and he healed a broken heart that I had since I lost my first soul dog in 2020. Now I have another soul dog. It has been a significant challenge with Dude. He is allergic to all forms of protein except insects(not kidding). After about $4000 worth of pancreatitis treatments, we finally got him worked up for allergies and found this out. He is much better now. I make his food out of ground dried black
soldier flies because that's what he needs. I am so grateful to LC4 for helping me, and the community. Adopt don't shop!!
