Max was found at PACC in 2018, shut down, facing towards the wall in his cold kennel in the noisy tent. I was looking for a heeler as my vet highly recommended one for our household with cats and tortoises. I did not want to buy from a breeder. This boy turned put to be perfect and wants nothing more than to be near me.
Shortly after adoption, he started to display early congenital arthritis at 4 yrs old. Today he has a metal plate in his back and goes on walks with braces fitted for his elbows.
Despite his issues, he is a happy, healthy dog. Heelers are strong willed and push through anything. He is an amazing dog and certainly deserves to be in the calendar. Please vote for MAX ❤
