When we met Izzie and her siblings, we just knew one those puppies had to win the lottery. It was actually US who were the winners.

Puppyhood was a challenge because we were novice Husky parents - did someone say escape? But when she got big enough she could no longer dig a large enough hole to leave our yard to explore the neighborhood, we realized we were living with a brilliant girl. Izzie can solve the most difficult puzzle in record time, she cared lovingly for her elderly and sickly Toy Poodle sister, and she is the most empathetic girl you’ll ever meet. You don’t have to say you’ve had a rough day, because Izzie knows, and she will do everything in her power to brighten it.

We love our Izzie Bear dearly. We are so lucky to be Husky parents to this beautiful, brilliant, and loving girl.

Rescue Shout Out
It’s a long story, but Izzie was living in rural SC with her siblings and mom. We were offered an opportunity to rescue one of puppies, and Izzie chose us. So glad we did! Izzie and her sister, Freyja (Great Pyrenees/Standard Poodle mix - rescued from Carolina Poodle Rescue) support rescue organizations! Their parents do, too!
