Comments/Description/Why Your Husky or Husky Mix Photo Should Win
Maize was originally a stray in Gary Indiana. She was rescued by Raven's Husky Haven and Rescue and adopted shortly after her arrival. She was returned a couple months later due to the other dog not getting along with her. As a volunteer there, Maize and I bonded immediately and I knew I had to have her. For months she was terrified of men, but after much patience, persistence, and lots of treats, she now loves her dad very much and loves meeting all kinds of new people. After everything she's been through, she's still the happiest, bestest dog I could have ever asked for. She rescued me just as much as I rescued her.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into and without your help, who knows if those dogs would have been cared for, or where they would have ended up.
