The mission of the Forget-Me-Not is to save and enhance the lives of homeless pets through cooperative and innovative approaches to adoption, spay/neuter, sheltering and community engagement.
The majority of the pets in our program are rescued after being abandoned or surrendered to kill shelters in and around Manatee County, Florida. We also assist individuals who need to rehome pets. We welcome prospective adopters from the entire USA. We provide foster homes, veterinary care, rehabilitation when needed, and a safe environment at our kennels for shelter pets to decompress. We place our pets with loving, forever families. Background checks, home visits, and veterinarian references are required prior to adoption. Because our goal is to make the best possible placement for a dog, we work closely with prospective adopters to ensure a successful adoption in a well matched home. FMN has rescued over 250 dogs since July of 2013.
We need more foster homes, as well as volunteers to support our efforts in Manatee County, Florida. You can reach FMN Animal Rescue by phone at (941) 302-0957 or by e-mail at ScoutBlueEyes@gmail.com. We welcome any questions you have about our rescue process, fostering, adopting, volunteering, and donating.
FMN is wholly dependent on our adoption fees and private donations to meet our expenses. Learn more about Forget Me Not Rescue and see all our beautiful rescue pets at https://www.forget-me-not.info/
