Tayla came to us exactly a year ago when my other dog and I were grieving for the loss of our late dog. She has helped us get back on our feet (and paws), keep our chins up and embrace our lives again.

She was brought to me because she was severely neglected being left alone in a backyard 24/7 with nobody to interact with for over 3 years. Her rescuer would only release her to me, so if I didn't take her, she would have been still there.

This photo was taken right after their bedtime bathroom break. She was watching her buddy going upstairs but waiting for me to make sure that we'd all go upstairs together. 💕
