Sophie was rescued from Los Angeles’ Skid Row by Forte Animal Rescue, which has saved over 1,300 dogs since 2002. I knew she was my dog when I took her for a walk at the Forte adoptions and she acted like she was a beauty queen walking the runway constantly flipping the "Adopt Me" bandanna tied around her neck. Sophie can make even the most serious person smile and I get told every day that she looks like a fox. Because she has never met a dog or person she doesn’t like, we make lots of new acquaintances everywhere we go. When people ask about her one ear up and one ear down, I usually tell them that one ear is ignoring me, and one is paying attention (sometimes- ha!). She never fails to make me laugh, especially when she runs through every trick she knows to get a single treat. Sophie is truly my furry, foxy, funny best friend and I am lucky to have her.
