Forte rescued Veda-Roux (then known as "Chunky") and on January 29, 2017, when Veda-Roux adopted us, Forte helped as we nursed her through a bad case of kennel cough. Now, Veda-Roux is treated to days lounging in a hair salon, fun nights at home, bike rides to the beach, sits curled and sleeping on my lap on many flights, and enjoys and is welcomed into the finest restaurants and bars in Southern California and New Orleans. She's sweet, quirky, loving, funny, and practically perfect, in every possible way.
