Pet's Story or Bio
I’m Tottie. I’m an Amstaff/Pit mix with big floppy ears and white socks. I think I’m about 4 years old. I love nothing more than a brand new toy. Sometimes I pick them out myself at the pet store. Sometimes I find a treasure at the park and then race back home to make it mine and destroy it as fast as possible. I love squirrels, butt scratches, and sleeping under the blanket in between mommy and daddy. They say I have the softest belly you’ve ever seen and my smile is infectious.
After 2 years in the shelter, I became insecure, fearful, and hopeless. When my parents rescued me, I wasn’t sure I could trust. New people and other dogs scare me, so I lash out. I want to be a good girl and I work so hard at my training, but I still have a long way to go. Someday I hope to make friends with another dog, but in the meantime, I finally feel safe and at home with my parents. When they come home, it’s the best day of my life, every time, and I know they feel the same.
