Pet's Story or Bio
Rescued Stewart in August 2020 and he is the best companion I’ve ever had. He tells me when he is hungry with his bowl in his mouth and he tells me when he has to use the bathroom by doing his favorite tap dance center stage to get my attention. He even tells me when he wants to go for a ride in the convertable by getting in tbe passenger seat and not budging until I start the car. If I am too busy on my computer or phone, he gives me the paw, letting me know to put those things away and pay more attention to him. Every night before bed, he tucks himself in under the covers next to me. If I get him up too earlier for his taste, he goes back to bed under the covers after he comes in from outside in the yard to relieve himself. When friends come to visit, he thinks everyone is his best friend and welcomes them with plenty affection and love. He rarely barks unless he has an unscheduled bathroom break and then goes nuts to get my attention. He also likes to play with other dogs and gets so excited when he has a stampede with friends and they tackle each other in the backyard. Most of all, He loves to run wildly fast in circles when he is excited and given free range to be free spiratuallty. However He will lay in your arms like a cradled baby if you pick him up and hold him tight. Hands down, he is the smartest escape artist I’ve ever known when left alone to his own devices. In fact I tell people everyday, Stewart is a harvard graduate b/c he has a PHD in just plain commen sense and he figures out the most complicated puzzles including how to read a room quicly, sizing up people, appealing to their inner child and adapting to everyone around him no matter their background. Most of all, I bonded with Stewart the moment we first met and I reallt adore his kind and sweat spirit.
