Morte was rescued from the streets of South Central after a rough start in life, including abuse and a congenital defect. But this three-year-old sweetheart refuses to let his past define him. With his big, soulful eyes, he stole his moms’ hearts at the Chesterfield Shelter. Now he spends his days fetching balls, chewing bones, and snuggling close — living proof that love heals all wounds.
