EWOK. August 16, 2003 - November 24, 2018
He was not afraid of people, dogs, other cats, thunder, lightening, the vacuum cleaner, water, hurricane winds, loud noises, the vet, the lawn mower, or his groomer. Friendly, loving and sometimes annoying with never ending insistence of sitting in your lap no matter how many times you sat down and got up. He would wait. He could tell time and for the last 5 years he knew exactly when it was 4:00 AM. Every morning he would jump up on the bed and walk over to your ear and purr like a small generator. Get up and get my breakfast! He knew only one word “brush”. Ewok would sit happily with his tongue slowly moving from side to side, obviously while his brain was in LaLa land, as I brushed his long fur. Today his last breath came silently. He opened his large sad blue eyes, looked at us for the last time and passed away quietly. I miss the look of trust my wonderful friend always had for me. We miss the happiness, laughs, joy and love he gave us.
