A little about me...
Kona, the black Shepard mix is a rescue dog. He had anxiety and a really difficult time socializing when he initially came home. However with the help of this wild golden retriever Hilo, Kona is a calm social butterfly. Both dogs were named after the Big Island of Hawaii. The west side of this island is black due to hardened lava flow and is know as “Kona” whereas the east side of the island is wild and lush and is known a “Hilo.” These two fellas can be found around many of the fabulous walking trails and river areas of Fort Mcmurray. This picture was taken on the shoreline of the Athabasca.
