Bumble was surrendered by a breeder to an emergency vet hospital immediately after being born with a cleft palate. He was tube fed around the clock by his foster from Save The Cleft’s Rescue in Charlotte, NC. We adopted him and learned all we could to help him and he even participated in a study for clefts at NC State Vet School. He is a shining example of how cleft dogs can survive and thrive by adapting without surgical reconstruction that often fails or makes the condition new or worse.
