We adopted Skippy from the Fox Valley Humane Assoc almost 3 years ago. She is part blue heeler, part husky (has 2 different colored eyes). We have never owned a dog before and now we can't imagine life without her. Skippy was born with 3 1/2 legs, but she doesn't miss out on anything! She and our cat get along well and during play she's often caught hitting the cat with her half leg. Skippy's favorite things: walks, car rides, kong with peanut butter and when my husband comes home at the end of the day (otherwise known as Skippy's boyfriend). This picture was taken at the vet about 4 weeks ago when we found out she's diabetic. 2 shots a day, still doesn't get her down! Skippy would love it if you'd vote for her!
