Tanner was born with subvalvular aortic stenosis, a narrowing of the aortic valve in the heart. While this disease doesn't have a cure and will inevitably shorten his life, it doesn't stop him from living his life to the fullest each and every day. He is the biggest lover and snuggler, and keeps us smiling on a daily basis. He's so silly and happy go lucky and keeps us laughing regularly. He gets along with everyone he meets, including other dogs and children. Tanner is the happiest dog we've ever had, he smiles regularly and brings more joy to our home than we ever thought possible. Tanner reminds us to embrace each day as if it were our last, and to love with every moment. He's a true joy, and reminder that every dog deserves a loving home. Take a chance on the underdogs, they're worth it!
