Tell Us About Your Pet
Marvin was found as a tiny kitten by the beach, covered in fleas and severely anemic. He had a sibling that didn't make it. A rescue brought him to our hospital and during his recovery, we fell in love with each other. I wasn't even planning on adopting, but after giving him two blood transfusions and nursing him to health, our bond just grew. He had the cutest raspy meow!

What makes your pet unique or special?
I have owned several cats in the past, but Marvin is the first cat I've had that really acts like a dog. He fetches, is always waiting at the door for me when I get home, and loves to lick my face!

What is your pet’s favorite hobby?
Marvin's favorite hobby by FAR is to play fetch with his favorite toy, a crumpled up piece of paper. His favorite pastime is searching in my grocery bags for receipts after I've come back from the store, He grabs the whole receipt in his mouth and carries it to me so I can crumple them up and throw them for him.

Why did you enter this contest?
Frankie's Friends is a great charity, and I just have WAY TOO MANY amazing pictures of my best friend, Marvin! I thought it was time to enter him into a photo contest!

Why did you choose to support Frankie's Friends?
As a veterinary professional, I see all too often pet owners who absolutely love their pet, but cannot afford the rising prices of hospitalization should their loved one need it. If I can contribute in any small way to Frankie's Friends, a wonderful charity, it will give me some peace of mind!

Why should people vote for your pet?
I was hoping to find a picture that encapsulates the quirkiness of Marvin, and will at the same time, make people laugh! I caught him in the middle of cleaning himself, and he just looked up at me and had the funniest expression! He is by no means unique among the thousands of cats we see everyday on social media. But he is special to me and I love him more than anything in the world!
