Tell Us About Your Pet
Bodie is a 3 year old chug found wandering the streets of Danville Illinois during a snow storm. When I saw him at the shelter I just knew I had to have him. He got me through my fourth year of veterinary school and moved across the country with me to start my career. He loves the Florida sunshine, playing with his toys and licking everyone’s plates after dinner. He is a forever puppy at heart and never wakes up in a bad mood.

What makes your pet unique or special?
There is not a person in this world that Bodie would meet and not instantly love. He is not your typical chihuahua and would snuggle in anyone’s lap available. All of Bodie’s dog friends are bigger than he is and they let him play with their ears, hang off their jowls and act like he won every single time. He also gets along with his kitty cat siblings and you can find them snuggled on the couch together or laying by the pool, sun bathing.

What is your pet’s favorite hobby?
Bodie loves to go on runs around the lake when the weather is nice. He loves to go bye bye as well, especially if it means he gets a dog treat when we go to the pharmacy.

Why did you enter this contest?
Bodie is genuinely the happiest dog I’ve ever met. Even though he had a rough start to life, his circumstances did not define him and you would have never known he was starving and unsocialized. I want everyone to smile when they see how big chubby cheeks and toothy smile. Everyone should be like Bodie and wake up every morning choosing to have a good attitude!

Why did you choose to support Frankie's Friends?
I think Frankie’s Friends is such a beautiful organization, allowing families who may previously have not been able to provide treatment for their pets, get the funds to help. I wish there was an endless amount of money to help every single handle in need but until that’s the case, there’s Frankie’s Friends

Why should people vote for your pet?
Bodie is lovable, cute and extremely squish-able! Everyone should vote for Bodie (and all the cute pets) to raise money and awareness for Frankie’s Friends!
