Tell Us About Your Pet
Margot is our current senior, special needs rescue- Min Pin/Chi mix 12-16 years old.
Walter is our 2-year old mixed breed we rescued as a puppy when he was transported from a kill shelter in the south with his sister.


What makes your pet unique or special?
Margot is the 4th in line of our revolving door of senior, special needs or hospice dogs for whom we've had the privilege of providing a comfortable and love-filled place for them to spend their final chapter. We love to create "bucket lists" for each of them, tailored to what seems to make them the most content- beach visits, sunbathing in the garden, short hikes for sniffing, and LOTS of naps in piles of pillows and blankets.
Walter is our young, healthy, sweet boy that we rescued as a puppy to train as our "ambassadog" for the revolving door of senior special needs and hospice dogs. He ushers them into our home, shows them the ropes, snuggles in with them for comfort and security, and carries us through all of our losses when his older siblings have to leave us.

What is your pet’s favorite hobby?
Margot's favorite hobby is snoring like a freight train during naps.
Walter is the squeaky ball fetch king and will play for hours- wagging his whole hind end the entire time!
