Tell Us About Your Pet
I adopted Princess in 2018 when her owner moved to assisted living.
Although her name was Princess, she immediately decided she was the queen in her new home and made sure her brothers knew that. In 2021 much to my surprise she was diagnosed with not only one type of cancer but two. I wasn’t ready to give up so she underwent surgery at Blue Pearl in Tampa. Recovery went well and then we made frequent visits to Blue Pearl for chemo. Thanks to the awesome care by her surgeon and oncology team, she survived another 10 months. But then it was discovered her cancer had spread and sadly on April 1st, 2022 I had to let her cross the rainbow bridge.

What makes your pet unique or special?
She was so very lovable. All her caregivers at Blue Pearl loved having her as their patient.

What is your pet’s favorite hobby?
Princess loved climbing up and down her cat tree and watching for birds and squirrels.

Why did you enter this contest?
In memory of my beloved kitty Princess who left me too soon.

Why did you choose to support Frankie's Friends?
Because I love cats and dogs and I know how expensive their health care can be if you don’t have pet insurance.
