Max has always been the bringer of joy. He came into our lives so very unexpectedly and at a time when we didn’t realize how much we needed his infusion of playfulness, adorability, and his unending love.

What makes your pet unique or special?
Max’s lack of aggression, even with other dogs, is startling. The biggest threat Max possesses is that he may lick you to death. He has never met a human he didn’t like, and the adoration from the two-legged critter he meets is always reciprocated. Although there is no shortage of cuteness when it comes to Max, his real superpower is the ability to infect others with a sense of calm. If Max is in your lap, you are sure to be in your happy place.

What is your pet’s favorite hobby?
Unlike Mean Girl Gretchen Wieners, Max always makes fetch happen. Ball, stick, plush, squeaky toy; if you can throw it, Max will fetch it. When he’s not hitting turbo in pursuit of the latest thrown item, Max loves to chill on his favorite blanket and dream about going outside to play fetch.

Why did you enter this contest?
If Max could speak – and we know he wants to with every ounce of his being – he would want us to support Frankie’s Friends and shine a spotlight on the wonderful, humanitarian work they are doing. Max is epileptic and has humans who are blessed to afford the specialty care and medication he requires. He also knows other pups are not as fortunate, and this contest helps bring awareness to the support Frankie’s Friends provides to those fur families in need.

Why did you choose to support Frankie's Friends?
For Max, it’s in his name. We want every family to maximize their time with their beloved pets, and that is what Frankie’s Friends allows them to do. We’ve all had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to a member of the family and usher them on their journey across the rainbow bridge. Frankie’s Friends provides resources for the emergency services and care that families would otherwise not have available to them. Frankie’s Friends provides life-saving support for the love-giving pets that support us every day.

Why should people vote for your pet?
Max’s cuteness may not be unique, but he really is uniquely cute. He’s also a wonderful pet. He has a distinct way with people and just loves to share his love with everyone.
