Layla is a fun gentle energetic bundle of joy. She has sass and snuggle rolled into one sweet little package. Layla is smart, silly, snuggly, and sweet.

What makes your pet unique or special?
Layla came as a surprise gift from my dear friend after losing our sweet Freida to illness at a young age of 6. We then lost Nina 14 and Snow 17 to old age, all within 9 months. Layla brought Nina so much joy in the last few months of her life, they played tuggy like Nina was a pup! She snuggled with Snow and brought him comfort right until the end. Layla is like an old soul in a German Shepherd body. Layla brings light and happiness to our entire family and community. She is like a magic spark that gives us so much to be grateful for. She nudges us into life every morning with her sweet snuggles. Layla is silly, full of life and energy and brings joy to everyone she meets. Layla wants to say hello to everyone and everything! Layla is a special soul.

What is your pet’s favorite hobby?
Playing ball, going for long walks, eating, tuggy, giving kisses. I love working in my training classes and around town. I love watching the horses in the park. I dig every single toy out of my toy box and spread them everywhere so I can watch my mom pick them up. Chewing and tearing up all sorts of things (only the things I am allowed to of course 😉🐾🦴). Superman jumps while bouncing down the trail. Snuggling on the couch.

Why did you enter this contest?
Love Frankie’s Friends mission. We have attended fund raising events when we lived in Nashville. Love animals and love to help wonderful rescue groups and veterinary assistant programs any way I can.

Why did you choose to support Frankie's Friends?
I love the mission of trying to find cures for animals. Pets are family, the world is bright and happy with them. I feel there isn’t enough research into animal illnesses. I love that you help people in need with their pets during catastrophic events and just someone in need. Blue Pearl and Banfield are wonderful veterinarians. Frankie’s Friends has helped people that I personally know and do know that it made a life changing difference for them.

Why should people vote for your pet?
Because she is the type of light in this world that people need. I know when she grows up she will be a great dog. ambassador
