Darla is a Fredericksburg SPCA alumni from 2010! She came to the SPCA from another local county shelter and was extremely pregnant! She was only about 11 months old herself! She gave birth to TEN healthy puppies in foster care. All were adopted when they were old enough and that left sweet Darla waiting for a home! She was extremely shy and skittish when we first adopted her and it took well over a year to house train her. But we wouldn't trade her for the world! She is extremely gentle and good with ALL people and animals. She lives with her canine brother and 2 feline sisters now. We affectionately call her "Momma" most of the time and it definitely fits her! Adopt Don't Shop!
