We rescued Persy after she walked through a body shop I worked at. Well she was very scared to be in a new home. She had been abused in her previous home. We were able to get her to the vet and get her checked out and cleaned up. After coaxing her out of her protective space with turkey, she finally decided we were not going to harm her. She became the guardian of the house. She made sure everyone was in bed and safe before she went to bed. Even when stomach cancer finally took her she never left my side and never had any accidents in the house. She will forever be my angel.
