Chewy was my foster dog. He had already been to a shelter and another family by the time I got him. I placed him with a great family but it didn't work out. The day I went to pick him back up I posted this: "Fostering Chewy again: He gets along well with some dogs, some people & some cats. My cats loathe him. My dog after several weeks of fearing him now loves him. Chewy is nowhere close to being housebroken. He destroys EVERYTHING. He jumps on tables, people & kitchen counters. He will open bedroom doors and steal "treats" from the litter box. Favorite pastimes include chewing windowsills and opening the oven. He is dumb as a box of rocks & a bit of a jerk. You know what? Forget it, he's perfect, I'm keeping him. Welcome to our not so perfect family Chewy, we love you."
