Maggie Mae was supposedly a standard dachshund, however, she never grew over 10 pounds. She is miniature in size but has a huge, loving heart and spirit! She is eager to please her family and always willing to snuggle, cuddle, and burrow. Her favorite activities are lap sitting, squirrel chasing and teasing her sister, Luxie, with the doggie toys. Her tail has been clocked at 90 miles an hour. She is a people person, so whenever we are in the room, she is right there with us! Great companion and she has an awesome sense of humor. If you want a breed that loves unconditionally, loves to cuddle and is strong-willed at times and a bit of a clown, consider a life with a Dachshund. You will never regret it! She protects and loves us fully! She is smarter than your average 5th Grader but a lot more fun.
