What makes me special
Gypsy was City Dog before City Dogs. Rescued in 2010 by Friends of the CLE Kennel, she was found with mange and a poorly healed broken hip weighing only 17 lbs. Her story is one of survival, grit and brilliance. She kisses hard and loves harder. She is my why. She was likely one of a dozen Pitties that made it out of the kennel alive that year. She is why I got deeply involved in rescue a decade ago.
Banksy is our bonkers boy. Also found in the streets of Cleveland, he immediately showed us how scared he was to be alone. Destruction followed, but he found peace following Gypsy’s lead and settled in. He is pure, unconditional love. We are sure he wants to be a real (human) boy and at 9, he has the zest of a puppy.
