Ezi was supposed to be my last foster before moving across the country - until I decided to take her with me. She was my soulmate dog, a friend to everyone she met, and perfect in every way. Somehow, she spent eight months in the shelter, going to and being returned by multiple homes along the way; I'll never understand how that was possible, but I'm forever grateful that we ended up together. We had two years and four days together, and I miss her every day. Having her photo on the bus would be a beautiful way to continue her legacy.
