We adopted Gertrude from DACC in April of 2024. She was found in January and was starved and weighed only 18 pounds. Gertrude now weighs 50lbs and is the most loving dog we have ever had. Gertrude loves eating, going for rides on the boat and she recently realized she likes to play in the water with her sister Maggie.
